console to console transfer issue

can anyone provide a solution for this annoying issue?

Purchased a 1tb X1 and have been transferring games to it via external hdd from my old X1 however some games will not show up on the new console. They're on the external hdd and are visible when connected to the old X1.

Have set the new console as my home console, I am signed in to Live but they refuse to show. I'm running off a tethered connection for a couple of weeks (due to house move) so can't re download and really need to access them off the external hdd or have
the option to copy to the internal.

Transferring disc exported songs to a new 360?

Transferring isn't an issue as the transfer cable will transfer everything over with the exception of game installs.

However you will want to use the license transfer tool on the Microsoft site otherwise you would have to be online all the time to use the purchased content.

Edit: If you are selling the original hard drive with the console and are then unable to do the transfer then you will have to stick your gamertag, save games and the RB1 export files on a memory device before selling and then do the licence transfer on new console and download everything else..

 

HELP - DLC not accesible

Just to add to this, DRM based content is issued with two licenses, one to the console ID and one to the Gamertag that downloaded it, so to use this content on another console the Gamertag that downloaded it must be signed into Live, whereas all profiles can use it on the original console, unless you transfer the licenses with the DRM tool of course.
