Console Timer not ported over from 360 - Why?!

So, by now I'm sure that I'm not the first to post this... And I know for a fact I'm not the first to mention it SOMEWHERE. And Microsoft should have heard it, screaming from a thousand different forums (a quick google search of xbox one + family timer or
some variant of that will give you a hundred results). But, just in case they weren't posting it in the correct area, I'm posting it here, now hopefully for all to see. If my post is not in the appropriate area, feel free to move it or let me know where/how
to move it. Thanks in advance.

So, the first and foremost - the console level lock / family timer available in 360 is gone, never ported over to the One. Why? That was a terrible mistake. I cant think of any good reason why Microsoft would think it was a good idea to remove / not port
that. There are plenty of parents that need a software level control over the console, and that was the only one available. To add insult to injury, just before the One launch, the Xbox Live Family Packs were "disbanded" and broken up - most likely for monetary
reasons - and now its a pain in the **** to even see where the heck my 17 year old brother's account is even located. And compared to the options and control I had before? I have like, 5 options. I lost like, most of what I had. I used to be able to see how
long he had played, what his last logon time was, etc. Now, I cant do any of that. So, now if I want to limit his play time to X number of hours per day, I have to come up with elaborate rules like, turn in your controller after this timer goes off, etc. The
cutting edge spaceship console that answers voice commands but cant keep my brother from being a gaming addict. Heck, I dont even know if turning in the controller does any good; since he can play half the game with voice commands alone!

One thing they could do if they fall short on ideas is to start pulling 1 game a month from the 360's library and start porting them over. Someone else made a thread about which arcade games from the 360 they'd like to have ported over. It can be found here,
as well as the games I would like to see ported over.

Thank god it's Mac and PC only, wouldn't want this ported over from a cr@ppy console, looking forward to this.
