    Console time and date problems


    I have a problem with my xbox one s that I bought three months ago. I keep it offline because I don't have wifi yet, but I've noticed that it thinks it's always september 2014. Even if I change it to present day both date and time change when i turn it off,
    it also seems as if I'm the only one with this problem...please help!

    I got my Xbox 360 slim last December. Just like PC's the clock keeps turning into the wrong hour. I tried setting it the right hour. I always have it plugged into a ON outlet. I do have it on Xbox Live when it works. What I don't get is the point of the
    Daylight Savings option when it never lets me turn it off or on on my own whether I am connected or not. The clock was not a problem till I thought I fixed it and missed TV shows. Now I know to never trust the clock on my Xbox just the date.But is their a
    way to fix it?

    Hey Wolf,

    That is an interesting problem. Let's see if we can figure this out.

    First thing to note, is that you cannot change the date/time whilst signed into Xbox Live.

    On that note, is your timezone correct? I would also suggest checking the "Language and Locale" section, and make sure your locale is correct.

    Do you have your console set to Energy Saving or do you have Instant On enabled? If you're not connected to the internet, Instant On will be your best option to maintain the correct date and time. If you connected to Xbox Live, it should update the date and
    time in unison with the region your Xbox One is set.

    unable to conect to xbox live...internet ok, and can access xbox account on xbox.com

    am sure the problem is at the xbox live end because, the internet is setting the time and date on my console, and not signing me into live

    Xbox Game Pass on PC not launching games

    I had the same problem and can confirm the problem is windows date and time. Go to date and time settings and uncheck "Set the time automatically" , then manually set the time to the correct time. All my games work now. Really weird issue :)
