    Console System Failure


    Hey, i have a problem with my Xbox. Yesterday i downloaded COD:bo2 with my xbox 360 disc and today i played it for the first time since i downloaded
    it, it was all perfect but when i tried to play it the next time it showed me an error that the disc was dirty or damaged, the disc is fine so i tried to clean it, after that i put it back in my xbox and the error still appeared i tried to reboot the console
    many times but the error still there. I decided to uninstall the game and try to reinstall it but when i tried to do it it appeared to me another error that said that the game isnt backward compatible, i checked the list of backward compatible games to make
    sure that COD:bo2 was and it still is. I tried to install other xbox 360 disc games that are also backward compatible and that same 2nd error appeared Ill aprecciate some help cause i still want to play my old 360 games

    Good Morning caeleb,

    I would try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue.

    1. Make sure the Console is turned off
    2. Unplug the Console from the wall
    3. Unplug and reconnect all the cabling
    1. If you have any A/V equipment or your STB connected you will want to keep them unplugged for now
    • After the console has been unplugged for 2 minutes, plug the console back in and reboot the system
    At this point, if the Console is still doing the same thing I would try the next steps.

    • In Step 2 you will download the OSUDT1 file
    If these steps do not resolve the issue, I would recommend calling Xbox Support at 1.800.469.9269 or request a callback
    here. This may most likely require a repair to be started of it is still happening.
