Console Streaming Upload Bandwidth not fast enough...isn't the console just streaming...

Do remember that when it comes to doing it through Twitch.tv, this will depend on your upload bandwidth. Quite many don't have more than 1mbit of upload bandwidth. This is not enough to stream even 720p properly, and the way the twitch to youtube will work
is that it actually uploads to youtube how you streamed it. Thus if your stream was laggy, the youtube video will be too. And with 1mbit upload bandwidth, the stream will be laggy.

I don't think they are ready to sell a streaming only console. The infrastructure isn't there for everyone to be able to handle the bandwidth requirements.

If your wireless signal isn't strong enough then plugging in an ethernet cord is probably the only solution. It's not that you can't use the app over a wireless connection, it's that YOUR wireless connection between your router and Xbox isn't strong enough.
I'm sure the fitness app uses more bandwidth than Netflix since it's doing more than just streaming. Personally I would never run a console on a wireless connection if I could help it.

Unfortunately for now, game streaming on mobile data isn't a great solution, 5G will improve latency a great deal but it can only do so much. I've found that xCloud gives me significantly better performance over console streaming,regardless of network
condition - likely because the servers are better optimized for video encoding and haveassive data bandwidth data center connections. What're youR upload speeds like at home?

I can appreciate a lot of bandwidth used for steaming. Approx. 10 hours today has consumed nearly 24gb (22.7gb DOWN / 1.3gb UP).

My question is why the massive UPLOAD just to download / view streamed content. I'm not worried about the bandwidth used, just concerned that whist viewing streamed content the xbox appears to be uploading at a rate of 0.3mbps.

What information is it sharing? Is it some kind of P2P?
