    Console Streaming - unable to access outside network


    Hello everyone!
    Just wanted to start off by saying: I've used the search button and wasn't able to find a solution for my issue.
    I've been trying to figure out why I cannot access my console outside my own local network on my Galaxy S10.
    On my console, I've done the "Remote Play Check" and I get the following Results:
    [Green Check] - NAT Type: Open
    [Green Check] - Upstream bandwidth: Over 9Mbps
    [Green Check] - Network Latency: Less than 60ms
    [Green Check] - Network type: Wired
    [Green Check] - Outbound port: Open
    [Green Check] - Power: Instant-on

    I should also mention, I've tried to use different ports than 3074 and open those on my router with no luck.

    Maybe the work router have it updated with a firmware more powerful and safer than before. So I couldn't tell you how to make it back as before...

    It's highly likey that you have NO idea what you're talking about! "As far as I'm aware", who are you? Did you design the Xbox One? Are you suggesting that any product that is used other than the way it was designed or intened should be disallowed, or
    just the ones you didn't know about? Maybe we should get rid of ALL modifications of any kind! Cars, Phones, Computers, Drugs (some of the most helpful drugs ever made were not designed or intented for their appliable use). You're a genius!!!!

    It's highly likely that they patched out this particular exploit, as far as I'm aware, game streaming was always designed and intended to be used for devices that were on the same home network.

    I have discovered that the latest Xbox One 10.0.17763.4088 (released 3/5/19) has patched the Xbox so that it will ONLY stream to PC's that are on the same local network.

    I have no idea why Microsoft decided to patch this, they have provided no public explanation that I can find. It was not even mentioned in the changelog. I would really like to know why they patched this feature, I will not be buying the next Xbox if it
    does not allow streaming out of network. This was an important feature for me because I am away from home a lot.
