Console startup issues after Cortana update

After Cortana update was installed on my Xbox One the console doesn't startup completely. On cold boot it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to display a error message about Cortana not able to start.

I have reset the console using USB flash drive to reset console however within a day or so the same behavior of console not starting up completely began reoccurring. I had not installed any games/apps after restoring using USB. I have tried starting the
console with Kinect disconnected with same results.

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

Dim display after booting Xbox one

Recently I have been experiencing issues after turning on my console. The screen will be extremely dim. The white Xbox one logo that displays during startup appears almost dark grey. And when I'm at the home screen it's very dark. Restarting the console
fixes this issue. But it happens everytime I turn it on for the first of the day. Could this be a software update issue after the last update?

CDN Error - Resource not found

Xbox Fitness is now listed as 'up and running' on
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status again. There was an update to the game which rolled out in the last few days.

Does anyone who had the CDN/startup issues still have them after installing this recent update?

Unfortunately, even if the CDN/startup issues are fixed, they seem to have introduced a new problem: New Lag/Freezes Since XBox Fitness Update

Definitely sorry to hear about the issue. Is your Xbox One Console in >>Energy Saver or Instant-On<< mode? Toggle the setting to the one you aren't using and
see if that helps. You could also attempt to pre-empt things with a full on >>factory reset<< as well.

If neither of those work, it unfortunately sounds like your console may be in need of repairs. That process can be initiated via the >>Online Service Center<<.

Our suggestion here, if reading through our startup error solution support article, our last step after attempting an offline
system update is as follows:

Step 4: Your console needs to be repaired

Unfortunately, it looks like your console will need to be repaired to correct this startup error. To submit a repair request, visit
Device Support.

This would be our only recommendation, as the console will need to be reviewed in order to resolve this issue.

Hi John,

When you start the Xbox One console, you expect to see the green Xbox startup animation screen. During the startup animation, your console runs a full system check on all hardware components, validating the firmware and the operating system. This is
very similar to the way a PC starts. The startup animation screen can take several minutes before transitioning to the next screen. If the system check fails to run the startup animation three times in a row, the console is flagged by the system as “do not
run.” This will block the startup animation from running, and in its place you'll see a black screen.

You've tried factory resets, a different TV, and different HDMI cables so the issue is with the console hardware, firmware, or software. The only other option you haven't tried is an

offline system update. Click on the link and follow the troubleshooter to complete the offline system update.

If the issue continues after an OSU, then you will need to send the console in for repair again.
