    Console shutting off randomly since last update


    I've had my Series X since launch, was working fine until recent update which now is causing it to shut off randomly. It is getting adequate ventilation and power. Trying to ring XBOX Support but just get a useless message sending you to website which negates the purpose for having a number to call. Came on website to set up a call back and just get an error message saying something went wrong their side. I have also reset the console but to no avail.

    Hi,

    I did all the 4 fixes mentioned before i made this post. If it makes any difference this only happens when playing SERIES X/SERIES X Enhanced games. If I play a XBOX ONE or XBOX 360 game it will remain on without an issue

    Can you expand a bit on this? If your console is taking an update, it shuts off randomly?

    mine is doing the same. but not because of an update. it just randomly started freezing on the xbox 360 logo. i have to hit the power button 3 times for it to cut of then i have to turn it bak on. hit the power button twice real quick where the green light
    shuts off then back off. then it slowly shuts down. turn it on again and do tht last step untill it works. i hate it
