    Console shuts off after 10-20 minutes of play.


    Every time I try and play a game it my Xbox One turns itself off after 10-20 minutes of play. It doesn't matter what game and it has plenty of ventilation. I sent it in to be fixed under warranty and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with
    it. Extremely frustrated. Any ideas what to try?

    Xbox shuts off after 20 minutes

    This is a strange thing indeed. I would recommend removing all storage devices and see if the same thing continues to happen.

    If it does, your console may be in need of a repair.

    You can either call support to talk to them about it

    Xbox shuts off after 20 minutes

    The Xbox is lying on top of my desk (with the vents facing up), so I think it's already in a ventilated area. I've tried plugging it in a wall socket but it turned off before I could sign in.

    Also, if your console is plugged into a power bar try plugging it directly into a wall socket instead.

    You should check if you have the XBOX in a properly ventilated area. Also, if the XBOX is in the correct position, it's recommended not to do that standing up position like on the advertisements on XBOX; but to put it sideways where it could be properly
    ventilated.
