Console reset (with keep games option) now all my games have disappeared.

Hi all,

we bought a game yesterday and tried to play it once it was downloaded but all that came up was the opening screen and now options to go further. None of the buttons on the remote did anything. We turned it all off and then on (about 20 times)... nothing.
Tried uninstall and reinstall... nothing. This morning l was going through the help section and followed the advice on resetting the consoles operating system whilst keeping games and apps on there. Now we can't open any of the games we've bought, they aren't
even in my order history, if we click on play when we're in the store it just says that it can't find the game. I tried uninstalling one of them them went to reinstall and it said that we didn't own it and had to buy it. Any thoughts/tips/help would be much
appreciated.

Thanks for that. We tried it and nothing changed. I'm wondering if there's an issue with my microsoft account... i've logged in on the xbox and the laptop and none of my purchases are showing. I can't get to speak to anyone though so l've no idea how to
sort this out and l'm hoping the money l've spent on games hasn't been completely wasted.

Hi,

Sorry about that issue, but as the reset not work properly, i suspect an hardware issue with your hard drive or console itself.

Try to install the game on a external hard drive, and if the issue is still there make a factory reset at 100% all will be deleted.

If with the factory reset its not working > repair process.

Turn on your Xboxand just leave it for an hour

Sometimes after a crash or s reboot the system needs to reindex the hard drive, hopefully that will work for you.

Have you tried doing a factory reset? Remember
to select the Reset and keep my games & apps option to keep all your games installed.

Hi, I had to use the reset console option located in the System section of Settings. There is an option to reset console but keep games and saves etc. After going through the reset all my games and things were still there and it seemed to resolve the problem.
