Console Replacement - Poor Support

2 Days ago i went to get on my Xbox One Console (500G), I turned on the console as normal and was greeted with a Green xbox loading screen.

Already confused about the screen it lasted for a good 10-15 minutes and then appear an error code. I immediately contacted xbox Via Live Chat and explained the situation, Now not only was my console corrupt, But to fix i was told i had to have a Microsoft
Computer (Which i do not have). Lucky i was able to borrow one from a friend.

I was told that i needed to Preform an offline update to the console to fix the console, For a good Two days i attempted to fix the console with these offline updates and none seemed to work. Becoming very frustrated i again contacted Xbox support Via a
Phone call. I was then told that seeing as the console was unable to be troubleshooted from home i would have to obtain a replacement console for a fee of $160.

Furious i asked to speak to a manager about the situation and again was given the same answer with no further discussion on the matter, They did not offer any further help with the situation. After i was offered to further Help with the matter i've decided
to cancel my Subscription with Xbox Live as I don't believe how i was treated was fair for a loyal customer as myself.

Im outraged at the fact that i've been a loyal customer since the first Xbox console was launched and i've been paying for Xbox Live services for over 8 years (Even though of lately they've been lacking tremendously). I was offered no further help, and i
wasn't able to speak to anyone further up to discuss a better outcome for the situation.

Horrible service, especially how the only resolution to the Problem was going to be me Forking out a further $160 to fix a console that was working just fine the day before.

Very disappointed with the Services of Xbox Support and Microsoft, This will be the end of my Journey with Microsoft if Im not contacted further concerning this situation.

Light on Play & Charge kit doesn't work

I have the same issue. Just returned mine and got a replacement. Same thing is happening with the replacement, poor by Microsoft, really poor.

 

Noisy power source

Hi,

my Xbox one has a noisy PSU which I can hear even when the console is one. I tried everything support recommended me, turn off, plug in a different wall, etc, but still the same noise even with the console turn off for hours. It's very annoying and I'm worried
if it can be dangerous, but the only solution I get for Microsoft is sent my PSU without a replacement, which means weeks without my Xbox. They claim this issue is not covered by their replacement program. Very poor customers support, how can I use my Xbox
without a PSU? Very poor customer support for customers like me who bought it since months ago.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your console. Can you please clarify the error that you're getting on your console? Before jumping into anything I want to make sure you've gone through all the appropriate steps for your issue.

I can definitely understand the frustrations of having to pay for a repair, but unfortunately if the console is outside of the warranty there is a charge for repair. We're happy to look into this again, but if the results lead to needing a repair I'm afraid
you will still need to pay for it.
