    Console Repair Time

So in a few days time Microsoft will have had my console that was sent in for a broken fan/disc slot (not sure) for a whole month, even though the status still says "Product received at service center" so I'm assuming repairs haven't even been made
yet. I've lost a whole month of xBox Live and my warranty because of this. Does anyone else who has sent in an xBox one for repair know if this is normal? Do they even update the online service center page or not?

    :)

  2. Repair times

I am going to send my X1 in for repair while it's still under warranty. The system is very loud when it starts up or when the disc is changed for the first 15min or so. When the disc stops spinning the system is inaudible. My question is does anyone know
what the approximate repair time is?

  3. Repair Time

It will probably take a bit longer for consoles, but it shouldn't take longer than a month. I too have dealt with sending my 360 in for repair 5 separate times, and it would take around a month. So I expect it to be the same for the Xbox One.

That's about the same amount of time they have been working on mine. I don't want to even get into the issues I've had to get it fixed. Seems as thou service is very busy and understaffed. I do receive emails from global support once a week to let me know
they haven't forgot about me. Than when they're done with it add a couple (4 or 5 days) for it to get shipped back. Good luck to you hope it returns soon.

Thanks, well at least I know this is normal then (still shameful repair time...Two even three weeks, OKAY. But approaching over a month?!) though it is odd that I haven't received a single email from support if you say you're getting them, hmm...

My issue might be different than yours, mine started off with an advanced exchange that would not even turn on. That one had to be sent back and found before my original one could be fixed. Don't want to bore you with the story, that's why global support
got involved with mine. Global support is above the support you get when you call in. And your right it is shamefull the way repairs are being handled. Microsoft should try to do something for everyone that has or had issues with Xbox one. I'm a supporter
of Xbox this is very disappointing. Hope your gaming soon!

I know it sucks to be without your console for that amount of time but when it is returned you get an extra months xbox live with it & the warranty is extended.
