Console rejecting game disks

My Xbox 1 console wont play any of my game disks.

xbox keeps rejecting the disk

The green lights always flash when the disc tray is either opening or closing.

What type of console do you have?, if its a slim try cleaning the eject button with a soft dry cloth while the console is turned off.

xbox keeps rejecting the disk

Hello, everytime i play a game it will eventually at some point during that game suddenly turn off and the disk tray will come out. Its even doing it on games that have been installed onto the xbox so it doesn't really need to read the game disk. Also when
it does this the green power button is flashing green :-/ can anybody help me and explain what is going on ??? thankyou

If you have tried different discs in good condition and you are not able to play them I suggest you to check this support link:

If your issue can't be solved means your disc driver is damaged and you should send the console for repairs:

You do realize that this I'd with ALL digital consoles right ? Both ps5 and xbox series s and all digital xbox one s and ps4 both say you cannot use disk games

You aren't backing them up you aren't fully understanding how consoles work

Games are installed from disk or digital

For Disk you MUST have the disk to validate the iownership regardless of console

Digitals havr the license built in

There is no way around it as 300k xbox "fans" revolted and got the previous xbox boss mattrick fired over not needing the disk on the original xbox one

No console works the way your idea wants and sony thoroughly rejected it with the disk sharing ad

You aren't backing anything up you are installing the disk and uncompressing the files and installing whatever day one patches and updates that's not a back up of the disk

You are thinking PC not console

Becausd it can be abuse

All you would need to do os hand off your blurays to someone rlse for an unlimited amount games

Disks is disks

Not digital considering the xboxnone rejection of disk being tied to an account

Hence why xbox is a distant 2nd atm

If you wanted the convienence of digital you should've bought digital copy

As the sony popular lending the games out commerical proves noone wants disks to be tied to an account

I was having this issue. I cleared the Cache and the problem went away.
