Console reboots when exiting settings

Discus and support Console reboots when exiting settings in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So my day one console has an issue where upon going home from settings and opening anyour game or app the console will reboot/crash with no error codes...     Console reboots when exiting settings


    So my day one console has an issue where upon going home from settings and opening anyour game or app the console will reboot/crash with no error codes involved. I recently reset the console to see if that would fix it but the problem persists. Any input
    would be great.

    No live on the 360

    On your 360 console, go to the settings section.

    Select "Network Settings" and then configure network.

    Tab over to the additional settings tab and select "Restore to Factory Defaults"

    Reboot the 360 and go back in to configure your network.

    Oh and when you powered down the modem and router, you unplugged it from the wall right? When you plug them back in is when they reboot.

    NAT issue Netgear R7000 router

    This happens to me also when I have any internet blink outage.

    Try resetting your router router, but also clearing the alternate Mac address on your console.

    You can find it in settings - network settings - advanced settings.

    When you clear it, console will reboot and you should have an open Nat type.

    Sorry to hear about the issue with the console rebooting. Are you by chance in the Xbox One preview program? If so, you'll want to post about this in the preview forums so the proper teams can take a closer look with you if so.

    To clarify, when you reset the console did you mean a power cycle where you turned it on and off? Or a reset where you

    Factory Reset     the console to default state?

    I often have this problem with BF4 as well, was wondering if there is a way to kill the frozen process without just rebooting the console. One of the selling points of the XBone is that you can exit the game to the console and do stuff - why can't I kill
    an unresponsive game?

    Try changing the online safety and privacy settings for your profile on your console.

    1.On your console, sign in to your Xbox LIVE account.

    2.Go to Settings, and then select Privacy.

    3.Select Change Settings, and then select Customize.

    4.Change the settings to whatever you’d like.

    5.To exit, press the B button on your controller, and then select Save and Exit.
