console rarely finds my TV signal, or locks up, or does not show picture at all

As a Day One purchaser, all the way back to the original xbox, I have to say I've been extremely frustrated with my console over the past year plus. I have my Direct TV running through the unit if I ever want to watch and play at the same time, which is
a pain since there aren't controls to shift from tv to game etc. and Kinect RARELY understands anything (what a piece of junk that is, but that is another story).

When I go to turn on my tv I usually have to power off the console completely and re-start just to get my tv signal. Other times, I can hear audio, but the screen is black, thus I have to re-start the console.

Half the time when loading previously played games, it locks up and I have to again re-start my console, the same can be said for Netflix App.

Anyone else experiencing this extremely annoying problem? Does anyone have a solution?

UK tv issues through Xbox one

My sky box is normally fine picture wise..

On occasion it will seemingly lock up when switching back for a few seconds.

On booting it will sometime not show a tv signal until switching to another app and then back again.

 

No picture

I am having trouble seeing a picture. Once the console is turned, the tv says NO SIGNAL, then I have reset display setting an its still not showing no picture or sound. I hooked it up to another tv still the same thing. Please help!!

thank you for replying. To be honest, this has been happening since I first set up the system on launch day…which of course disappointed me to no end. I will try the troubleshooting suggestions you sent me. I will say, recently I am experiencing a problem
when the console does not read game discs correctly now. It says i have to purchase the game at the store when it is in the console, or it just can't read at all until I completely unplug the unit and do a fresh start up. Any suggestions or history of this
problem for others?

Frustrated, and *** off, here as well. The latest (and there's been many) issue I'm having is that when turning on the xbox via voice the tv does not come on. So I turn it on, only to find the OS is sitting there, unresponsive, with little circles spinning
around. The only solution is a hard reboot - as is the case with most things on the XB1. I wouldn't mind so much if these things were few and far between, but it's a constant. Day one purchaser here as well, plus I own two of them. It makes me very nervous
to actually purchase games for the thing because I feel like I'm just waiting for the thing to crap out. And considering the SIX Xbox 360's I went through, and MS's attitude during that time, I'm not too confident that if it does fail I'll get much satisfaction.

 

St. Michel,

It first affected only my kids Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Superheroes but now it is also affecting my NBA2k15 so I fear it's the console and not an individual game.

I do appreciate your help and willingness to troubleshoot with me.
