Console randomly stops detecting wifi and all controllers.

I've talked to support 3 times and have ran all trouble shooting that I was told to do, even factory reset and still having this issie. It started happening the 14th when Evil Within was released and I assume the console updated since the home screen was
changed a tad. I've tried wired but it still stops detecting controllers while keeping net. I've moved my router to the other end of the house and still nothing has changed.

Randomly mutes all players online?

Why does my system randomly mute all players online? I've changed headsets, mics, controllers and nothing stops it from happening!!!!!

 

Ongoing issue with chat.

This is a problem I've been having since the very first update and it's driving me nuts. I have 2 Xbox One consoles, 4 controllers, and 2 headsets that came with each system. For whatever reason, chat just stops working. And it's random. The mute light works
and I get an audio sound when turning the volume all the way up. Sometimes I can hear people through the headset, other times it comes through the TV. Either case, nobody can hear me using the headset. So I have to switch the Kinect on just to chat, which
I hate. It affects both consoles at random times. Both headsets at random times. And all 4 controllers at random times. If chat stops working on one console, it doesn't matter which combination of the 4 controllers or 2 headsets I use, it doesn't work on that
console. But it will work on the other console. Then, it will randomly start working again and everyone can hear me fine. Until it does it again. Or it stops working on the other console. Yes I've tried doing the hard reset multiple times and all 4 controllers
are updated. Not that it should matter because like I said, this problem has been ongoing since before the update for the controllers.

 

This sounds like the WiFi adapter of your Xbox may be faulty. Consider to have your console serviced.

 

I've considered it but was worried about getting it back with other issues. I've heard lots of stories about this.

 

It's pretty bad luck and rather unusual to get a console back with even more or different issues than the one you send in. So unfortunately I think it's the only solution to get your box fixed and you really should do it within your warranty.

 

Out of curiosity could it be my DNS? I checked and its 0.0.0.0 for secondary. I read a post and set it to what it's supposed to be and I've so far not had any issues. I've already got a replacement coming though.

 

The DNS itself has nothing to do with the connection of the controllers. Having an entry of 0.0.0.0 for the secondary is normal if your router works as DNS server.
