    Console randomly disconnecting/ games crashing.


    I have a series S, and recently I've been disconnecting from my games, or having them crash randomly. It is not a specific game, and I know it is not my internet, as none of my other devices have issues. The strangest thing is that my Xbox will stay connected to WiFi, but I will disconnect from party and game.

    Additionally, there is the known issue of controllers disconnecting randomly or when the batteries are changed. I use battery packs to this was a major issue for me, but I have discovered a fairly consistent workaround: power off your controller before changing the battery. Thank you for your time.

    Same here! it's a great console but if this issue persists, it's a deal breaker for me. What games have you been playing where you've experienced crashes?
    Fortunately, I haven't been in the middle of any games yet during it disconnecting. It's randomly disconnected when I've been browsing the Microsoft Store, been on the Dashboard and/or been downloading games. Yesterday it didn't disconnect at all (this is
    after I cleared the alternate MAC address). Question: when it disconnects on you do you have to restart/reboot the console to get it to connect again? I'm wondering if our issues are identical in happenings or if there
    are some differences.

    Losing connection.

    I've tried hard resetting both console and modem/router and it didn't work. I still get disconnected randomly when playing online multiplayer matches. Luckily Netflix isn't effected, but I just wish I could play a game online without getting disconnected
    randomly. :/
