    Console Problems...


    My Xbox One, which I've had for years, is now not working most of the time. When I turn it on, the tv does not show anything. There is no problem with the HDMI I am sure I checked with three other cords. Sometimes it will turn on and be regular but it basically
    never works.

    • The controller doesn't connect to the Xbox.
    • The reconnect button doesn't even make the Xbox symbol blink.
    • The only way I can turn it off is if I hold the power button. Touching it will sound it but it doesn't do anything.
    When it does turn on and work, it will often freeze later and I have to turn it off then it doesn't work. Don't suggest unplugging it and turning it off, I've done that about a million times.

    Is it broken permanently? How do I fix this and if I don't can I get a refund?

    [/quote]Yes, the power supply is supposed to have a orange light when the console is turned off. That is completely normal.

    Problem with Console.

    I cleared cache when i first had the problem with watching DVD's but a week later the problem seems to have got worse, I could ring support and get it sorted that way i suppose but I still have 2month on my warranty from the shop so should be able to go
    tomoz to Game and get it sorted a bit quicker shudnt i?

    Hello, Please un-plug Your Xbox Console from all power sources for 30 minutes and then plug it back in and attempt to turn it on again. If this issue continues to happen feel free to reply and I will get to you ASAP.

    Personal preference really & depending on the space your going to put the Xbox 360 in, I've got 2 consoles (Original & S model) myself & have both positioned vertically, never had any heating issues or any issue for that matter, you decide as I don't think
    there is any compelling evidence that suggest's one way is better than the other, just remember not to put them in confined spaces or block the fans/vents airflow.

    Also there is no need for extra fans, they do more harm than good.
