Console power button flashing

    Console power button flashing


    My power button flashes intermittently. Flashes for 30 secs then stops. 20-30 min later flashes again. Is my one dying, overheating????

    Id say its downloading an update, assuming you are using the instant on feature?

    Unless it's your controller disconnecting I really wouldn't worry.

    I'm actually glad someone brought this up, because every once in a while, when I turn off my console, it'll flash intermittently for whole minutes at a time before eventually shutting off. Anybody know why it might do this (and for the record, my console
    is set to instant-on mode)?

    I always presumed it was just shutting everything down in the background before powering down.

    Yeah i just always assumed it was finishing something up in the background, i guess the light pulsing is just a "hey don't unplug me or anything just yet!
