Console or controller problem?

Hello everyone, sorry in advance for my bad English but I am looking for someone that can help me or at least suggest what to do regarding the problem I have.

I own an Xbox One S since November 2016, but in the last two weeks it has started to have problems: the controller started to fail to connect and if it connects it works for maybe 5 minutes and then it gets really slow and suddenly stop working (just the
LT RT LB RB and the two triggers works but sometimes stops completely).

I don't know if it is my controller that is gone ( I used a rechargeable battery until last month when it broke) or the console that is also failing sometimes to connect to the internet and overheating a bit more than usual.

I don't have any occasion to test another controller on my Xbox and I prefer to have suggestions rather than buy in advance a controller to later discover that it is not the problem.

Sounds like you have a faulty console. I'd recommend sending it in for a repair at myservice.xbox.com

X, Y, B, and A buttons plus the cross on the left (i don't know how to call it) work for some minutes and then they stop working .

Unfortunately it didn't work and now the controller when it connects after a very long time flashing, it doesn't work as I said before and now it makes also the icons on the Xbox home flashing and it moves randomly

Why wouldn't you try unplugging the power cable and then
reattaching it? That would force the controllers to sync up again with the console.

because when i plug them via playn'n'charge cable to my PC they works just fine.

You mean when you power the controllers from a PC USB port, they work fine with
the 360 for extended periods of time?

It sounds like your 360 is having trouble keeping the controllers powered continuously. Perhaps invest in a set of rechargeable batteries and a charger? Then you wouldn't need to power them via the P&C cable.
