    Console not responding to controller properly


    Sunday 22nd July 18....

    Hi, just updated console, now when navigating the highlighted sanctions keeps jumping multiple places instead of just one position. When selecting home to restart or switch off, you highlight what you want but when pressing A there's no response even though
    when pressing it, the highlighted area is flashing as in the console is receiving command but response from console. When looking on films or game or going g on your game, it's highlighted but no response.

    Can anyone help please

    Console not responding to controller properly

    Reset your console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off completely. Turn it on and try again.

    If the doesn’t work then go to settings and then accessories and see if there is a controller update available.

    If the first suggestions doesn't work try it EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    I had a similar problem on the new Dragon Ball game.

    I tried everything but I had to restart the game.

    Controllers not working properly with console

    Have you tried updating the firmware on your controllers? Plug your controller (with headset) into the console with a USB cable. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings...Devices & accessories...pick a controller. What does the Firmware Version say? I
    think the current version is 1.1.2228.0. The last menu option should be Update. If you already have the current firmware version it should say 'No update available'. Check each controller.
