Console not registering Dpad, X button, Bumpers while in game

Discus and support Console not registering Dpad, X button, Bumpers while in game in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The dpad at least works on the xbox menu. Nothing works in game.     The dpad at least works on the xbox menu. Nothing works in game. This is not a controller issue, I bought a new one and it's doing the same thing

    Let me make my own controls!

    I remember Star Wars Battlefront allowed customizing every button. I wished games today allowed customizing and interchanging the face buttons, triggers, bumpers, dpad, and clicking on the sticks. It can be done on PC, why not with a gamepad on console?
    But I don't mind BF3's controls. The only change I need is I play Southpaw for Choppers and Jets.

    List of controller defects/problems.

    After going through about (im not kidding) 60-70 controllers here is a list of what problems I have noticed. Youre welcome microsoft. Lets work together to get these issues fixed so everyone can enjoy what xbox has to offer, if you have any other issues
    you have noticed but are not on the list, feel free to comment them. Thanks!

    -Uneven panels

    -Panels coming off

    -Sharp edges where the panels meet

    -"Start" and "Select button needs to be pushed hard to get it to register

    -Friction in the triggers

    -Face panel of controller moving position

    -A,B,X,Y buttons making loud clicking noise

    -A,B,X,Y buttons sticking

    -Loose bumpers

    -bumpers not clicking/registering

    -"X" middle button not register/has dead spots

    -Thumb sticks altering position/making clicking noise/not anchored to controller

    If a
    power cycle     hasn't resolved this issue, you may want to try a full
    factory reset while keeping games & apps     to see if that helps resolve the issue. Additionally, are your controllers wired or wirelessly connected? Test both to see if your console will recognize the buttons being pressed. If either suggestions don't work,
    unfortunately you'll want to consider reaching out to the
    Online Service Center     to explore having your console repaired or replaced.

    Sign in to Gamertag

    1.press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

    2. Select Console Settings, and then select System info.

    3. Once you`re in the System information page, please press these buttons in sequence on the controller:

    Pull the left trigger.

    Pull the right trigger.

    Press the X button.

    Press the Y button.

    Press the left bumper ( button above the left trigger ).

    Press the right bumper ( button above the right trigger ).

    Press Up (Dpad)

    Press A

    Press Left (Dpad)

    Press X

    Reset System Setting will come up.

    Go ahead and follow the Reset steps and the pass code will not be back.

    Sounds crazy, but it works.

    Hello Everscent i would suggest the following:

    Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

    Go to System Settings and choose storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.
