Console not detecting any wifi or ethernet. Tried all MS Troubleshooting exercises... anyone ...

I am unable to access Xbox Live or get any type of internet connectivity on my console. It was working fine since I purchased it over a year and half ago, and now it can not detect any internet through wifi or ethernet.... Has anyone encountered this issue?

Hey TBX, sorry to hear about the console not detecting that Ethernet cable! Have you tried a different cable as of yet? How about a different port on the router you're trying to connect to? Also, did this issue begin with any event, such as a power storm?

Xbox one wifi, desperate for help

Thanks for all the replies everyone, i've tried the things most people have mentioned which I hadn't tried before but still no luck, I guess the xbox's internal wifi has malfunctioned. i'll try to get some ethernet adapters or somethingClick to expand...

well if its faulty then call MS as it's still under warranty.

do you have any other consoles connected to the wifi? or another console to connect and test out? that way you can rule out which is the exact problem.

Sorry you're having issues with your network connection. First thing I would check and see if there is a link light to where you're plugging the Xbox into (Example: Switch,Router). If there is a link light do you see activity? If you do not see any link
light try another cable, or port on that switch or router. If you have a known good cable and known good port on the router then the Xbox may need service which is at the link below. If you are getting activity, but cannot get connected run the connection
test at the link below. Post back and let us know!!!

Just a Volunteer

The console will not connect to WiFi (wireless) if there is a ethernet cable plugged into the console. Disconnect the ethernet cable and restart the console. It should allow you to input the WiFi SSID and passcode to connect from the detected list in Network Settings.

Have you tried connecting your console with a wired ethernet cable?

You may be getting signal interference using WiFi (wireless) or have too many devices connecting to your router if they are using WiFi as well.

As the number of connected devices goes up they all compete for bandwidth slowing your connection.
