Console no longer works after loud popping noise.

I was just in the middle of playing a game and head a really loud popping noise from the xbox (or possibly the power brick, which was in the same area). The xbox immediately shut off, and I haven't been able to get it to turn back on since. I've tried
the unplugging everything and plugging it back in and that sort of thing, but nothing has worked. When I plug the power brick back in, the light glows orange for a brief moment, then turns off. No response from the console at all, as far as I can tell.

It's only about a month old so I figure it's still under warranty, but that's quite a hassle if there's any easier fix I'm missing? Anything I should be trying? Also, would the power brick be covered under warranty, if that's the problem?

Controller - Left Trigger Squeaking?

I just returned the controller that came with my system because the casing was popping off and there was a loud buzzing noise when ever it rumbled. Gamestop took it back and gave me a brand new one with no problem. But guess what, the right trigger makes
a God awful squeaking noise! WTH MS?!?

 

Power issue

The power brick made a loud popping noise and then shut off. The power brick is yellow when it is plugged into the wall but if I plug it into the xbox there is no light on the power brick at all

I would guess its a power brick from getting over heated, it should be under warranty. If its not covered under Warranty it will cost you about $35 USD to get it replaced. (price may vary depending on your location, if out of United States)

If you have a friend that also has an Xbox One, see if you can borrow their power supply, so that you know that it is a working power supply.

If it still doesn't work after you went through all of the troubleshooting listed on that page. It looks like you will need to get your console repaired. If you need to do that, you can start the transaction by going to following link: http://myservice.xbox.com

 

I've tried the troubleshooting options to no avail, and I don't really know anyone nearby with an xbox one who's power supply I could try, so that's out...

But I've hit another problem. When attempting to get warranty service, it seems like they just expect me to know whether the problem is with the power supply or the console, since there are different sections to click on based on which problem it is? Not
sure how to proceed with that?
