    Console making a high pitched chirping sound.


    Just started yesterday and it's driving me crazy. This guy posted a video on YouTube with the EXACT sound mine is making. Anyone have any idea what this is?



    There's no disc in the drive, honestly the system is just sitting idle. It doesn't make this sound when it's asleep.

    Xbox One is chirping

    Mine started doing this today while I was watching Netflix so it is not the disc drive as some people are suggesting. Its a really high pitched chirping.

    Xbox One making strange high pitched noises

    I have an Xbox One that is making strange high pitched (beeping sort of, sounds sort of like a malfunctioning fire alarm) noises during an update. I haven't updated nor used the console in a while... I have heard the "high pitched whirring" noises coming
    from my Xbox but this sounds different. Is it just my Xbox updating or do I have an issue with it?

    I ended up replacing it with an Xbox One X. So I never did get to the bottom of the chirping sound.

    I have the exact same problem. Did you manage to resolve this?
    I ended up replacing it with an Xbox One X. So I never did get to the bottom of the chirping sound.

    Xbox One electrical buzzing/humming noise

    It's not a chirping sound. It's not a high pitch sound. It sounds similar to the buzzing/humming from a DVR or laptop. It goes off after around 5 minutes.
