    Ive searched online quite a bit to see if anyone has had this similar issue but I have not come across it. When booting my console from stand-by mode my Kinect will connect, disconnect and reconnect constantly. The alert comes up in the top right saying
    "Kinect is unplugged" which it is not. Whenever this issue happens my sound will not come on at all. My tv and receiver turn on like normal on the initial start up but the receiver acts like its not getting a signal. The only way to resolve this from what
    I found is a hard restart, but as soon as I power off and turn the xbox on again, even just moments after, the said issue happens again.

    Anybody heard of this or have it happening to you?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Out of service repair on original XBOX 360

    The Power Supply for the Kinect, is only used because the USB ports can only handle around 30W or 6amp @ 5V & the Kinect uses more than the capable power output for the Consoles USB Interface etc... The AUX Port on the Xbox360 Slim has a dedicated power
    circuit for the Kinect & doesn't need the Kinect's Power Supply or USB Adapter..

    One of the reasons why, it's good to upgrade to the Xbox360 Slim Elite >250GB, as the Power Circuit has been factory altered to stop RROD issues with the console & also uses the XCGPU Single Die Processors now & is more reliable than the previous Original
    consoles that had heat issues...

    Kinect & Controller Issues.

    I seem to have solved it!

    With having my Xbox One on "Instant On" boot up settings, while shutting down my xbox, and turning it back on again my Kinect & Controller functions didn't boot up properly. I switched to "Energy Saving", turned my Xbox One off, and booted back up and everything
    works perfectly.

    I suggest people switch to "Energy Saving" rather than "Instant On" since this isn't the first time problems have occurred because of this. Hope this helps!

    Also I forgot I sometimes have the issue of my Kinect not powering on at all. I have to do a hard restart and unplug it and then replug it in once I've got the system running again. This happens quite randomly when it does.

    This is a socalled "reboot loop problem" with the kinect and can only be fixed by replacing the kinect. That already 2 times by myself.

    This is a socalled "reboot loop problem" with the kinect and can only be fixed by replacing the kinect. That already 2 times by myself.

    Getting so tired of this

    Paul, please disconnect your kinect from the console, and try refreshing your cache. Since the kinect sounds are activating, it could be the console is having issues with the Kinect.

    But will there be an option to buy a console without the Kinect, or is Kinect to integrated with the console to not be sold seperately. That is the meat of the issue i guess.
