    console issues


    after the update my A button stopped registering on my controller .i tried multiple controllers and it still did the same. so i managed to get into my settings using cortana and i tried factory resetting my console. i chose to keep my games and apps. the
    problem is now in the system start up screen. after choosing my language and region i get to the " choose your time zone screen" after choosing im unable to scroll down now to press the option "Next" the cursor repeatedly jumps back to the top of the screen.
    Any help would be appreciated. btw this is not an xbox one s im having issues with its the previous model.

    Hey MoonLightFox! Have you tried this with multiple game discs? Do you receive an error message, if so what is it? You also may want to check out the following

    disc read troubleshooter     to see if the suggested steps help. Let us know the results and the answers to those questions so we can help you out! :)

    Try cleaning the disc? or start looking for a disk fix as it is possibly a problem with the drive itself

    If you've ever switched consoles in the past, it usually says that. You can fix it by going to your active downloads on the console, selecting the download, and choose "Download All Items" and it should stop that message.

    I have tried everything and my hard drive works fine, but every other game works smoothly but it's those specific games that always act up. And I just tried playing an older game today and my Xbox doesn't even want to read it anymore.
