    Console is on controller and tv dont think so


    My xbox has been acting up for the past few months,sometimes it would work but eventually freeze,and after it froze i had to hard reset it so that it would turn off(cause when I regular turned it off the light would stay flashing),and when i try turning
    it on nothing shows up on the screen and my controller doesn't connect. What do i do

    Xbox 360s controller

    All instructions always state to turn on the TV first. But I think I`m going to throw a spanner in the works, lol

    My TV is off, my console is off, my wireless controller is off.

    So, I turn on my wireless controller first, which automatically turns on the console. Therefore the controller has connected to the turned off console in order to turn it on, lol

    I`m finding this thread so amusing

    Xbox 360 Slime E not working with HDMI

    Im trying to use HDMI on the Slime E but my TV says "No Input". The HDMI cable is 100% plugged in correctly and works. The controller wont connect so I dont think its booting into the dashboard. It works fine when I use the terrible AV lol.

    Sorry for the late reply. No those steps did not work for me,but recently i have gotten my xbox one on twice,but i have to turn it on and off a lot before it actually works, and by "works" i mean lets me play a game for 5 to 20 minutes before it starts acting
    slow and freezes. I have no idea whats wrong with my xbox one

    Hey Levibeatsall! It sounds like your console is in need of repair. You can try a factory reset either via the

    console     or
    USB     but it most likely will need to be sent it. The repair process can be started
    here or by contacting support

    Yes it's possible to do this, I think only the kinect version of the console can control the TV if you not using an IR extension cable on the console on top of that you will still need to input codes for TV you have, so this should mean it will not control
    the TV.
