My son was playing in Xbox live with friends and the screen went blank. We've tried to turn it on for the last three days. However, the console is on, but the screen is blank and we aren't able to see anything. Yes, we've checked the cords. We've also
tried the suggestions in the support of doing a cold reboot, etc.

Xbox One X doesn't talk to the TV

Hello

Our Xbox One X (bought Nov 17) has stopped working. It switches on and the console lights up but it doesn't "talk" to the TV. TV just shows "no signal". We've tried the following so far:

Replaced the HDMI cable for a new one

Checked the TV is working. It is.

Connected the console to a friends TV, who kindly unplugged their Xbox to check our was working. It isn't.

This was a Christmas present for our 10 year old so, we're disappointed to have spent so much money and it not work after 6/7 months. Hoping someone can help, Thank You!

It shows in my account I'm gold but my console is not updating

I have checked connection and network checked for updates and nothing is working

Hello Rtsmlc,

Can you check which HDMI port the HDMI cable is connected to? It should be connected to the port closest to the power cable.

If that doesn't work, if possible, try a different TV to see if it is the console or the TV that is causing the issue. Let us know. Good Luck!

Yes, the TV is showing a "no signal" even changing the HDMI port and cable. And no, nothing else is conected to the console other that HDMI and power cables =(

Yes to all of those, it's a game my wife and I had been working on for about two weeks and our saved game always showed up just fine until this last time and it showed nothing, like we've never even played it.

I thought the Forward Unto Dawn series was decent enough. But you know, they announced it at E3 and we've exactly nothing about it since. I'd take an Xbox One exclusive Halo TV show over that Quantum Break nonsense any day
