Console is off but profile displays offline

Discus and support Console is off but profile displays offline in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Ok so when I go to bed I switch off my console by using my controller but when my friends check up on my profile it says offline instead of last seen...     Console is off but profile displays offline


    Ok so when I go to bed I switch off my console by using my controller but when my friends check up on my profile it says offline instead of last seen why is it doing that when all I did was turn off my console if its any help I literally turn my console
    off without exiting the youtube app by using my controller

    Playing off line

    Hey Swampy! You can set your profile to display that you are offline. Simply go to your account on Xbox.com and select Privacy and Online Settings.

    You can also turn off notifications in your Xbox Settings. Hope that helps!

    Problem with my friend offline

    They may have selected to display their profile as offline. I sometimes do this so I am not bombarded with invites to join party and games.

    a message stating the console is offline and asks if I want to sign out to test my network connection.

    ^^I have the same problem! Including my profile is displayed as offline.

    The sycronisation of apps like you tube, twitch and of games didnt realy work.

    cant transfer dlc and use on 2nd xbox

    No the 2nd console would be able to use it offline or online whenever the gamertag is on it or not

    However the 1st console only the purchasing gamertag can use it online and cannot use it offline

    No other profile can use it offline on the first console. If you want to use them both offline then a profile on the 2nd console will have to purchase the content if you want to use them on both consoles offline or by other profiles without the drm transfer
