    Hello,

    I have been having this issue for a couple of weeks. When I turn on my Xbox one console it will not let me play games, open apps, do anything except log in. I will then turn it off and when it turns off the Xbox light on the console flashes. This flash will
    go on from about 1 minute to all night. My Xbox is stationed somewhere where nothing is blocking it, it is getting plenty of air where it is not overheating. I have done a hard restart on the console a few times but it will continue to do the exact same thing
    later. I have turned off "instant-on" in the settings and it still continues. The only way I can get it to work is if I let it continue to do it's flashing light thing or unplug it completely. I want to know if it is possibly the OS and maybe this will be
    fixed in an update or if my console is just faulty.

    Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance

    Xbox One system update (10.12.13)

    Turned my Xbox off around 10pm last night, about 15 mins later i noticed the xbox light flashing on the console. So it seems to update when it wants.

    Xbox flashing green light

    The green light on the power button of the Xbox 360 console flashes when the console performs either of the following two actions:

    The light flashes rapidly when the disc drive tray is opening or closing.

    The light flashes slowly when the console is downloading Xbox LIVE content after the console is turned off.

    You are going to want to contact Xbox Support. This seems like a pretty serious problem!

    I've noticed my Xbox One could be over heating because when I turn my Xbox One off the power light flashes couple of times and it takes around 5-10 seconds for the Xbox One console to turn off, could this be over heating?

    Controllers not syncing to console.

    Hi. All suggestions are for xbox one controllers. I have an xbox 360. Though I have still tried these suggestions and still not connecting. When then console is turned off i can turn the console back on with the controller but the xbox light still keeps flashing and not connecting. Any more suggestions would be muchly appreciated.
