    My console hasn't updated since 9/29 a buddy of mine has updates every other day or so. The system says it auto checks for updates but doesn't seem to let me update my console

    New Xbox One System Update Goes Live Today

    Mine was done and over with within 3 min. Seemms a little smoother than before but it was just a "behind the scenes" update.

    Yes, i believe it'll be at 1.8, i think that's 2 or 3 updates behind, but updates for the game will be brung out periodically after release.

    Yes, i believe it'll be at 1.8, i think that's 2 or 3 updates behind, but updates for the game will be brung out periodically after release.

    I hard reset my console a few more times to try and get the DVR to record sound and to my surprise it had started working, the only problem is the sound was so far behind the clip that the entire audio was behind by at least 3-4 seconds. Wonderful.

    FYI the console rep changed during July this year, as did the web page, just at the end of said month because the web updates at the end of each month. So if anything the console is lagging behind...?
