Console has been replaced twice because it won't start - need advice on Xbox One

Hi,

I have had my Xbox One replaced twice due to the console abruptly not starting. Each time, Microsoft replaces the console as it is under warranty. But I still have no idea what is causing the issue.

My console is connected to the power brick, which is in turn plugged into a UPS system (Buy Online Battery, Inverter, Home UPS, Fan - Luminous India). The UPS is required because I stay in India,
where power cuts are frequent.

According to Microsoft, I should not use the UPS, but this does not seem feasible, since there is no way to ensure game continuity. Furthermore, the only purpose of the UPS is to provide uninterrupted power to the Xbox, which can't possibly be a bad thing.

Can anyone provide some insight on this matter?

Appreciate any help. I've currently kept my Xbox disconnected as I'm too scared that the issue will happen a third time!

No one can hear me through headset mic, kinect works fine. Can hear all other sounds and party.

I replaced the original console with a new Xbox one S still same issue, so repairing it won't work

Cheaters and hackers

Good day all xbox gamers I just want to know if xbox is doing anything about all these hackers and cheaters because its getting frustrated my account has been hacked twice already and on certain games my stats has been reset by hackers countless times and
also it feels like xbox is doing nothing about the reports so any advice please

So technically the rep that told you not use the UPS was correct. When using an Xbox One, it is highly recommended that it be plugged straight into the wall as there is a surge protector built into the power brick (original Xbox One) or the console itself
(Xbox One S). By plugging the console into a surge protector or a power strip of some sort, it can cause interference and prevent the built in surge protector from doing it's job properly and can absolutely cause some issues. Believe me when I say I understand
the need/want

With that in mind, does your console work properly when plugged straight into the wall and bypassing your UPS? This will help us figure out if the issue is actually with your console or possibly with your UPS. (Also, are you using any other devices on your
UPS?) Could you provide me with the exact specifications of your UPS as well please?

After getting my replacement Xbox I have not received any issues with my games crashing. My best advice is send in your Xbox if still under warranty (has to send my console in twice)

Can you confirm if your console can read DVD discs?

Xbox 360 games are on DVD and Xbox One games are on Blu-Ray. The Xbox One's Blu-ray drive has a separate laser to read DVD's, if it has malfunctioned, Xbox 360 games can't be read and the digital download for BC games won't start.

To test this out, try playing a DVD movie disc. In all likelihood these films won't play and that will confirm drive malfunction. If this is the case you'll need your console repaired/replaced.

This may be the problem. DVDs aren’t working in the drive. I will see if this can be fixed or if I need to replace the system.

When you got the replacement console: Has your brother set THAT REPLACEMENT console as their Home Console again?

Otherwise, the console that you sent in is still the "sharing" console. Usually, you get a different console back. And unless that console has been set up as your brother's Home Console again, it won't share your brother's games and Gold memberships.

that won't work, that port is for incoming signal only, as the original xbox one has been discontinued you would need to take to a local repair shop to have the hdmi port replaced.
