    Console froze downloading from Game Pass


    It is Xbox S with 500GB HD, I am new to this, it is my 7-year olds console.

    Got him Game Pass worked fine with Goat Simulator and when we went to download 'Totally Reliable Delivery Service' to screen froze and will not unlock.

    Unplugged unit from AC and still cannot get past the frozen screen.

    Xbox crashes anytime I try to download games (Very Recent Issue)

    I was able to download Defense Grid, but I tried downloading The Witcher 2 and it froze again. When my Xbox booted up, I stopped the download, went to erase the incomplete data from my hard-drive, and it froze again while searching for it. It was labeled
    "Unknown Game" but switched to "The Witcher 2" soon after and that is when it froze.

    i have the exact same issue i wanted to dl the season pass for both games and when i dl the season pass the game worked all right but after i restarted the game to take the season pass as downloaded it says connecting and then a black screen and then after
    a few seconds the console froze i tried it 3 times on both games and its always the same

    i deleted the cache and dl the games again and nothing same results

    Game Pass itself does not share, but the games downloaded from it do. So anyone using your Home console will only be able to play the games you have downloaded first. They won't be able to download them from Game Pass.

    Deleted my save game (just from console, not completely from cloud) - and ran the game. Seems to have fixed it for me. Tested for about 30 minutes.

    Edit: Went back in and it froze again. Deleted save game and tried again; it froze again. Dang it!

    Hey ManWaDaMaHaDa!

    It looks like the game should included the VIP Pass. If the game isn't showing the pass for you, go ahead and delete the content from your console and re-download it from your download history.
