Console freezing and Game DVR issues plus other odd problems after June update

First ill just say my X1 has worked flawlessly until this morning when i saw the tile about the update, i did the update and ever since my console is acting pretty crazy..lol! Ok, problems, my game dvr when snapped and after i hit record will freeze the
console when i try and unsnap..whats wierd is the game will keep running in the homescreen window but everything else is stuck! I reset and it works fine until i get one or two clips and then it freezes again! Game recorded footage is wierd..It only records
my spawn screens and not me playing (BF4)! i just get me picking my kit and person to spawn on(full 2:47 of just that)..and end of round scores! Another issue is any app can cause my console to freeze youtube, hulu, netflix etc, when i get it open its fine
i can browse and stream...Last very strange problem..my games unpause by themselves..i hit pause and there are different time frames but it unpauses itself between 10sec-2min on every pause! Any Ideas???

Consoles freezes when starting games.

I turned on my console after 3 weeks and the issue is gone. Looks like my presumption is correct, it's got something to do with their ads. Ever since they updated the ads, the problem is gone. This isn't the first time the ads caused issues, the last time was freezing while logging in to Live.

 

Yeah same here, not to that extent though, when i'm playing CoD i record like 2 or 3 clips and when i try to record the 4th it freezes when i try to snap back to the game but the game is still playing so i just need to sit and watch myself die over and over
and then every time i try to turn my console off through my controller it freezes completely, it's really annoying and it's only started in the past few days for me, i hope someone will know how to fix it soon or they update something to fix it

 

Have you tried doing a hard reset of the console? Try that and see if it works. Hold the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec then plug it back in and power back on.
