Console freezes when loading COD 2 multiplayer

hello,

Every time I try to go into multiplayer mode for COD black ops 2 it the while system freezes. I have tried cleaning the disc, rebooting, creating a new profile but the issue persists. I can log on just fine with modern warfare. Please help....this is very
frustrating. We paid for the live subscription solely to play this game.

Black Ops 2 Freezes

Ok I reinstalled it but this time it didn't freeze in the same spot I went to play on local to see if it was working properly but it freezes when it is in the game loading screen like when it is supposed to show you a picture of the map your going to play
on but before it would freeze when I tried to go into multiplayer like where you choose if you want to play campaign, zombies or multiplayer.

Not able to play hangmans noose on GTA 4 multiplayer

i am not able to play hangmans noose on GTA 4 multiplayer ranked. i played succesfully for two weeks. But a few days ago, i tried 100 times. when i am launching this mode it freezes "Loading...". Then i need to shut down my console, i cant even go to my
dashboard. other modes in GTA 4 multiplayer are working fine, just this one.

Wish I could add more info, but I had this same exact problem about 2 months back. I thought maybe the disk was scratched so I installed black ops 2 on the hdd, but it still froze only when loading a multiplayer map. I my case it was while trying to open
a private lobby. Any map I chose froze up.

The problem just went away by itself one day. I loaded it up after a couple of days assuming that it would lock up, and it worked. I didn't do anything in particular other than play a different game for a day or 2. Odd

Hey there, you say it's only happening with the one game, yeah? At this point, let's see if we can isolate it to something in the network, vs the game specifically.

First, if you can, please just try using a different copy of that game? Maybe a friends copy if you can.
Then, please try wiring the console directly into the modem- bypassing the router.

If it behaves with a different disc, we know it's just that copy of the game. If it works when you bypass your home network, then we know to look for the hangup there.

It could be that your gamer profile might have become corrupted. You can try resolve this by first delete your profile from the storage device and then recover your profile from LIVE. Follow the steps up front!

How to delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account.

Go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

Clear Xbox system cache

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
Select Storage or Memory.
Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
Select Clear System Cache.
Important: Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
Select Download Profile.
Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
Enter your Microsoft account password.
