    Console error


    A few days ago it suddenly happened.

    When the console is turned on it does not send any signal to TV through HDMI cable.

    I checked staus of the cable and TV setting but they are ok. I also tried to fix it with the way of "Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool ". Howver it did not work.

    The console box seems doesn't boot properly. Anyone who had this proble and could fix it?

    Original Xbox 360 E74 error message- Solution

    If your Xbox 360 has failed because of the E74 error, you’ll see the following message on the screen when you turn on your Original Xbox 360 console:

    System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.
    E74

    If you see this error message, you must repair your console. The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If the warranty period expires, you’ll have to pay for the repair.

    DESPERATE for help !

    Also, if you have console online and call support they can remote view your console for error codes and tell you if its in need of replacement. Pretty incredible they can do that.

    I have redownloaded my profile and this seems to have fixed the problem also i noticed when i turn on xbox now it shows all profiles on screen before i sign in like my other 360 pro does. Thanks for the help if this happens again i will know what to do.

    Hey fntn1, sorry to hear about the connection issue! Okay, let's try seeing if it's the profile before looking at the network and console. Can you please try re-downloading your profile on the console, using the 'download profile' option in the sign-in menu?

    Is there an error code on the bottom?

    It may be large number (with spaces and probably many 0's) that would start with 'E'. (e.g. E100, E200, E101, etc...)
