    Console doesn't shut down completely


    Hi, i am in Alpha Ring.

    Since the last 2 or 3 updates and also after the latest one today, my Series X doesn't turn off completely when i hold the Xbox button on controller and press turn off console.

    I have my console always on energy saving mode, but now there is no difference between energy saving and instant on/sleep mode.

    I tried both and when the console light goes off i press the power button on console and it turns back on without the xbox boot video and the sound playing.

    At the moment i can only shut down the console completely in the energy options.

    Can you please fix this in the next Alpha Update because it has worked like it should before the last 2 or 3 updates.

    But that doesn't answer my question quite all the way. I'm going to keep it on energy saving mode, I just want to know if the download will continue when I power down the console and then shut the console will shut off completely when it is finished.

    Hard reset your console hold your power button down for 10 seconds in tell complete shut off. If that doesn't work try resetting your router.

    First try to completely power down your console (not just sleep). When it's on, hold the power button on the console for approximately 8 seconds. It will shut down. This closes all apps and clears the cache. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling, and install

    If holding the power button doesn't help you may want to unplug the console for 30 seconds. Does the same thing, but when you hold down the power button it isn't always clear that it is doing a complete shut down.

    Hi there. It sounds like a hard reset may fix this. Hold down the Xbox logo on your console for 10 seconds until it completely powers down. Restart and try again. If that doesn't work, shut it down the same way and unplug the power cord from the back of
