Console doesn't power on

When I try to power the console it emits that sound when it starts, the white light apears, but off half a second later, it turns off.

Any tips?

I know you said you said you have restarted your console, but did you do a complete

power cycle of the console?

Yes, there is a difference. The power cycle requires pressing (and holding) the power button on the console until it shuts down. Then waiting a moment and powering it back on.

The power cycle steps can be found

When ever I get a game (doesn't matter which one) that doesn't want to launch (and it doesn't happen often), the full power cycle clears it up.

try power cycling your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the game

Sorry to hear about your power supply not working properly. If you haven't already, head over to our

PSU Solution, for some simple steps that will determine where the problem lies and what to do about it.

Thank you for the detailed information and I apologize for the trouble. While the controller is plugged in directly on your console please perform a powercycle by following the steps below:

"1. Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

2. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on."

If that still didn't work, I apologize but we may need to get the controller repaired/replaced.

Firmware is updated. It does not turn on at all wirelessly. But it works normally with a wire
