    Console does not reset


    My brand new Xbox one is stuck on the green animation screen. I have not seen the home screen yet because it never moves past this animation screen. I have tried holding the bind and eject buttons together but there is no power up sound after 10-15 seconds.
    I have also tried holding the power key down for 10 seconds and restarting method. No error codes are displayed neither the troubleshooter page. After connecting and disconnecting cords for the umpteenth time I am forced to seek your help.

    I am frustrated because this was purchased abroad and all my friends want to come and play.

    Please tell me how I can fix this console which is giving me sleepless nights!

    Problem with Blue-Ray app

    Are you online? Resetting the console does work, as others have advised. However, you'll also notice some disks will prompt a firmware update. These are actually required files for the disks BD layer and not FW updates at all. Even if you've set the player to not load online. It still needs these files in case you change your mind.

    I have had this happen intermittently as well. Resetting the player often solves the problem. Rarely, would I need to do a console reset.

    Did you try holding the bind and eject longer than mentioned? Since it is having some trouble starting up it could need to be held in longer than normal.

    Barring that, i would suggest contacting Live chat support or Phone support, as they will know more about how to help you.

    Hope you get it fixed.

    What does resetting your console do?

    Resetting it to factory settings will make it so the console will act like it did outside of the box. As long as you have an online account, your account is saved on Xbox's servers so resetting your console will not delete anything on your account. When
    you get your new console, you would just sign into your account and all of your game will be able to be redownloaded for free.

    Power cycling the console/hard resetting the console does nothing, the same problem arises when you try and connect to Titanfall servers again. Resetting the router does nothing either.
