    I'm not very sure how to explain the problem I am having so I'm go to provide a link to a youtube video I posted of the issue happening.



    I have determined that this issue has nothing to do with the TV because I bought a new TV and I'm still having the same issue. Also, the game being played in the video is GTA V (digital version). At this point, it is virtually impossible to even play this
    game right now. At first this only happened on GTA V, but I noticed it starting to happen on Advanced Warfare and FIFA 15 (also digital versions). It's reasonable to assume that the problem lies within the console, but I have no clue what could be causing
    this to happen. I've already tried a hard reset, uninstalling and reinstalling, factory reset, and all combinations of everything. Nothing is working and it's getting old super quick.

    HDMI not working

    I've heard of other issues with HDMI connections being solved by turning off the 'display discovery' under the 'display settings' and restarting the console. Can't hurt to try.

    Please make sure there are no kinks or bends in yur HDMI cable, sounds like you do a lot of reconnecting, and those wires aren't exactly known for their durability.

    Console Display Issues

    It appears as there is interference between the TV and console; probably a bad HDMI cable. Try using the console on a different TV using the same HDMI cable to see if the condition is repeatable. If the condition occurs on the second TV, replace the HDMI
    cable with a good one that is copper/gold plated and see if it happens. If the new cable improves it (which I suspect it will), try the console on the new TV. if the condition happens only on the new TV, there could be something that is interfering with the
    signal on the new TV (seen this before).

    This exactly, but I think you'd also want to further test other devices on the display and make sure the display is working properly before troubleshooting the console. That will ensure the port, power, and display screen of the TV itself is good prior
    to going through many steps to see if the console has an issue.

    If the display is good, then the Display Troubleshooter linked prior is going to be the best steps to try and resolve this issue, which hopefully is just a configuration issue and not a sign of a larger issue due to the power irregularities.

    Hi, are you at least still getting a display using HDMI?

    -

    Try resetting the display settings on the console, remove any disc from the drive and power the console off, power the console on using the guide button on your controller, as soon as the console starts to power up press and hold Y and the right trigger,
    the console should restart and the display settings are reset.

    -

    The audio issue could be caused by having display discovery enabled on the console, go to settings/ console settings/ display and disable display discovery, does that get your audio working again?

    Hi, sometimes if you disable display discovery on the console that can fix this audio issue, this only applies if you're using an HDMI connection though.

    -

    On the console go to settings , system, console settings, display, you will see the display discovery option there, disable it and power the console off and back on again.
