Xbox deletes all memory for no reason every few weeks. I only have the internal memory no hard drive. I'm also not connected to internet at all. Never had this issue before but its been ongoing the last five months. It deletes profiles about a week after
making them. I really don't want to have to get a new one.

You say you have the 4gb console but most of your games are digital versions. This suggests that you have a hard drive installed in the console.

Try removing the hard drive then restart the console. If it boots up fine then the issue lies with the hard drive itself. You could either try reformatting it on the console or purchase a new hard drive.

    Good luck.

    Hard Drive Question

If you purchased the console as a 250GB model there is no 4GB internal storage, if you purchase the 4GB model and then add a hard drive you would get both.

    -

I'm guessing you purchased the console with the hard drive fitted already, hence when you remove the hard drive there is no storage device on the console.

    -

Trading it in as a 4GB console wouldn't be an option really, it's immoral and whoever purchased the console after you would be in for a shock, although I suspect the store would check before accepting the console.

It appears your internal flash memory is failing. Get an external drive (not a USB stick) to keep your data safe. Eventually though, your 360 will fail to boot as it won't be able to read the dashboard information off of your internal memory. There is no
fix for this. Next time, use external drives.

  5. Is it something I did or just something that happens? I have never filled the memory up as I've only played one game on this particular console.I haven't downloaded any apps, music, or movies either.

It's something that happens. Microsoft likes to cheap out on the quality of the parts it uses in its consoles. Flash memory only has a finite number of reads/writes. Usually when it's to this stage, it's pretty close to failing.

Are you using the Xbox 360 Slim 4GB consoles? Please note that the 4GB is flash memory and not, in fact, a hard drive itself.
