Console constant shutting down

Not sure if I'm being over reactive but xbox suck and I can see why so many people are just going to turn to PS4.

I bought my Xbox one in a black Friday sale 2 years ago, I have clocked maybe 3 hours total due to my work and relocation from San Fran to Philadelphia. I only bought the console to play Friday the 13th game (when it finally came out). The first time I turned
it on it ran ok, played for about an hour and half and then had to pack away in storage ready for the move.

Once I got to Philly, I unpacked it and set it up, played for about an hour and a few days past and never really got to play much due to work. Over the next 4 months I have played zero hours because the darn thing won't start up.

I get the white light on the console for about 5 seconds and then it shuts off. I have bought a new power brick as recommended by a few forums, I have also gone through the whole turn it off and wait an hour, also blow into the power brick for dust, move
the console to another location free from any obstructions (which it already was), press and hold side button and power button, I contacted support but it's out of warranty, which has left me with nothing but a over sized paperweight on my entertainment unit.

I remember in the old days with the RROD on the 360 and the soldering used to get weak and therefore needed fixing but this issue I have no clue how to fix. Next to buying a new console again I am lost.

I will attempted to contact support again but if paying $400 for a console that has been used less than 3 hours is their idea of fun, entertainment and worth the money then I to will take that jump over to the PS4.

Hey Draco - I have to admit I'm a little confused by your statement of "I should clarify that I'm actually shutting down the console itself not signing out." When do you see this message? How are you shutting the console down?

It's overheating. Make sure the vents are clean and that the console has enough space for ventilation (about 2 inches on every side). If it still overheats, move it to an area with more ventilation. If it's out in the open, then it needs to be serviced.
