Console connection

My console is connected to the internet and will install updates to games but not let me go online or use any of the online features, it also only has the single home tab at the top, I cant scroll left and right with rb or lb to the store etc... What is
this problem and how do I fix this??

High Pitch noise with Xbox 1 and PS3

Can anybody help? I am getting a high pitch whistling sound when connecting my son's xbox 1 and PS3 to my plasma TV. Originally I thought it was the PS3 fans as it only occurred when the console had been on for sometime. Now my son has connected his Xbox 1 it is on all the time, especially as we have our Humax receiver connected through the Xbox. The sound appears to be coming from the TV itself, but is only there if one of the two consoles are in use. If i change the input/port to play a dvd not connected to the consoles the sound goes away, even though the consoles are still connected and on. Have tried changing all the HDMI leads but to no avail.

How to connect a wireless controller to an Xbox 360 console

If you want to connect a wireless controller to your console, follow the steps bellow:

First, you need to turn on the console.

Insert the AA batteries into the controller.

Now you need to turn on your controller by pressing and holding the center Xbox Guide button. You should check the batteries if the controller does not turn on. If it is a rechargeable controller, you’ll have to ensure that it is charged properly.

After turning on the controller, you need to press and release the connect button on the console.

You also have to press and release the connect button on the controller within 20 seconds to connect the controller to the console.

Notes

When the controller is connected, the lights surrounding the power button on the console stop flashing.

You are allowed to connect four controllers to a console. Each connected controller is assigned to one of four positions and each position corresponds to a lighted section around the console’s power button and the controller’s Xbox Guide button.

i seem to be having the exact issues aswell ive tried some many things ive turned my xbox on and off ive reset my router ive disconected from the internet and reconnected but nothing works pls help

There is one for a blank TV when powering on. There may be an issue with HDMI cable you are using. I would try a different one and see if it corrects the issue. If you are still having issues you can contact support at:
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us They can walk you through some extra steps and do a repair authorization if the warranty applies. I hope this helps!

Hey Nuthin! Can you try these same controllers on a different console, like a family member or a friend's? If they work there but not on your console, then there is most likely an issue with the console. If you need to set up a repair order, start here (support.xbox.com/.../repair-process).
If they don't work on another console, then there may just be an issue with the controllers. Let us know what you find with this test, thanks!
