    Console completely frozen?


    Hi,

    Whilst playing Alien: Isolation, I accidentally selected "Switch account" and during one of the later sections of the game, this immediately threw me back into the main menu and immediately froze in the loading screen, thinking it was just a one off, I turned
    off the game and tried again, it continued fairly well up until the menu again, after selecting continue, it froze yet again! This same thing occurred every time I tried something different, turning off the console, switching off the game. After trying multiple
    times, I decided to uninstall the game only for it to refuse to uninstall, I have tried multiple times and it still will not uninstall the game. Realizing it was probably just a corrupt file, I decided to switch over to Sunset Overdrive, during the main menu,
    it asks me to select my account/user and continue, but once again, this also freezes the game and gets stuck on the loading screen, trying out everything I did with Alien: Isolation, it turns out that Sunset Overdrive has also suffered the same problems..
    Thinking it would be an issue with the disc drive, I decided to try out Volgarr instead, however, this doesn't even hit the menu and immediately freezes during the loading screen. I can only assume this has been done with every game I have on there and it
    refuses to let me uninstall any of them!

    Can anyone offer any advice as this is a massive issue! Thank you for any help!

    Completely incorrect warranty on my new console

    I was suppose to update mine about 5 months ago. Now, I'll have to pay full price to get another warranty. Good thing you did so, right choice.

    Hope they get this fixed for you Quinn, did they give you a time frame as to how long it might take?

    Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes to see if that helps?

    Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes to see if that helps?

    Freezing is back!

    Have you tried holding the power button until the console shuts down? That should fix the issue.
