    Console Companion app not connecting to party chat


    I just recently built a PC and now when I launch the console companion app I cant join parties. When I do try to join it just continues to say connecting. I can see the icon showing its picking up my mic but all other users say connecting under them. I
    have seen some previous posts talking about a teredo adapter driver but my pc does not have that. Even if I search through the device manager it is non-existent. I have also tried reinstalling the app and it did not work either.

    Xbox console companion party chat won't work.

    To be sure, are you using the Xbox app or the Console Companion App? Party chat has been discontinued for the Console Companion App.

    the double audio im hearing is coming from the companion app on my pc that im using to stream from my xbox. its not from streamlabs. im getting the audio from my xbox and my pc via the companion app. but im using the companion app to use party chat to
    talk. so i cannot mute it because it then mutes the party chat audio and im not able to hear my party.

    You won't get the party chat audio trough the remote play in console companion app, as you can use the party chat trough the Xbox app or game bar, so it's not necessary to have it on the console and shared trough remote play.
