Console boots to blank screen

Console was working fine until a few days ago. I tried to turn it on, it goes to the green Xbox loading screen, then to a blank black screen where the dashboard should be. I still get notifications and can access the controller menu, but if i push the buttons
at the black screen I don't hear or see any reaction. Game discs won't load and the console has overall no functionality other than turning on and off. Just got this console a few months ago and have not done any damage to it.

my xbox one boots fine but only has a world globe with 24 on it and a white outline of the app launch box otherwise black screen. i've tried rebooting 4-5 times suggestions on what to do or what is happening ?

Doesn't sound good!

I'd suggested giving you console a hard reset, which may well kick it back into gear. With the console on, hold down the power button on the front for 10seconds until the console switches off. Then leave it for a minute or two, before turning it back on.
Hopefully, it will go through the green screen before then loading to the dashboard

Try disconnecting power cord for a couple of minutes.
