    Console behaving oddly, need advice.


    I have noticed several things in the last few weeks.

    1. Sometime my hard drive says there is no data saved in it. Sometimes saying 'unformatted'

    2. Normally, if I leave my 250GB Harddrive in my 360, It can take a long time to get past the first Xbox 360 screen, sometimes going no further.

    3. Ive found some games (Mortal Kombat, Skyrim) are freezing on me a lot, or not even starting. I moved them to cloud storage and this was helped mostly, but they still freeze. MK is a download and so there isnt an disc issues. Seems its data related, or
    connected to my harddrive.

    Now. Sadly i have moved some of my data to the cloud and now it's saying I dont even have it enabled, which is upsetting me somewhat. I have few questions though.

    1. Is this my hard drive playing up?

    2. Have I lost all my data?

    3. Is there a way to transfer my data to the 360 or a pen drive or something so I can keep my progress on my games? I dont want to lose everything.

    What shall I do? check and see if theres a repair options?

    Recent lag, Freezing, And crashing Plus new error screen

    Your gold running out wouldn't have any bearing on your console behaving like that.

    Looking at your picture i'd say your console definitely needs to be sent in for repair

    TV controls keep popping up

    G'day Patmos and dsmmrm! The only thing I can think of which would bring up those options is voice or hand gesture navigation. I know it sounds weird, but are you moving your arms around at any time while you watch TV?

    A quick step to try which may help this is to
    power cycle your console    . This is a good place to start any time it seems like the console is behaving oddly. Give it a go, and let us know the result!

    Console beeps several times and the disc tray opens on its own

    Clean the button with warm water and a damp washcloth, no soap, very rung out so theres no chance of excessive water. Sometimes debris and general gunk gets on the power button and/or the eject making the console behave oddly

    You said you have already tried two controllers with the same results, and at no other time does the right stick behave oddly, correct? You can try resyncing the controllers just for kicks. Do you have any more controllers you could try (maybe borrow from
    a friend?)

    Hey there Legend! I understand you are having some rather odd issues when starting up your console. First, can you check your console settings to see if your or any other profile is set to auto sign-in? If they are, can you turn them all off, restart the
    console, and then see what happens?

    Regarding the blinking light, does this happen when the console is off, or only when the console is on? This also happens independently of there being a game in the drive, correct? Can you also check the power supply to see if the light there is behaving oddly.

    Thanks for the advice Hassassinade, but ive done this coutless amounts of times, 2 of my friends have the same problem, oddly its only in the arcade version of the xbox 360, my friend with the slim are fine.
