Console Banned

I got banned on all my accounts, and console banned.

But Microsoft doesn't give me any information on why i'm being banned and for what reason?

I don't have a modified console nor participated in any modded lobbies.

I'm a competitive player that only plays UMG and GB.

So people can get console banned for no apparent reason now?

And all you fourm Kids that sit here and think they know everything, going to say "well you shouldn't have modded your profile" well i never needed to
mod because i play in custom matches on Call of Duty Ghost and Black Ops 2 which requires no online leveling needed to equip the perks needed to play.

Not even going to Purchase a new console if microsoft ( xbox tech support ). and everyone knows xbox has the worst phone support " oh sorry go post on
fourms.

All the Threads about console ban are the same, but the
fact is kids make up excuses when they know they've been in modded lobbied or modified their consoles or whatever reason because they broke the TOU.

I re-read the TOU and i have not made any violations. This is not even logical.

If you can't help or have a **** remark saying i modded or anything to break the TOU don't even post on my thread.

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

If you are really honest,you know exactly why microsoft banned you.

People do not get banned for nothing,as you well know.

Getting your console banned and all your accounts is not a punishment you would get for playing in a cod modded lobby.

You have obviously done something much more serious.

 

The email address associated with the account should have gotten a message with a (generic) reason for why you were banned.

 

Back in 2011, Microsoft did unfairly ban a lot of consoles because of a software 'glitch.'

They had to unban those consoles and compensate the affected people. Imagine the hell some of those kids would have gotten because 'the Enforcement Team doesn't make mistakes.

So if they've mistakenly banned once because of a software glitch, it would be naive indeed to believe that it couldn't happen again.

 

Many times i have seen you post this information.

Thousand of consoles were banned at exactly the same time for exactly the same reason,it was a huge error caused by a software glitch on their part.

What did not happen was a bunch of individuals getting banned at completely separate times for several different reasons.

I guarantee this guy is not part of a microsoft software glitch,and thats without knowing anything about him.

You only have to see the phrase "all my accounts" and call of duty involved.

Simple fact is OWEN that you and others continue to state that people don't get banned for nothing.

I just point out that in fact people have been banned when they've done nothing wrong.

Just because there was a big error on one occasion, why on Earth do you think something similar could not happy again, or indeed hasn't happened before or after that time in 2011.

The Enforcement Team and the technology they use are not infallible. They do make mistakes.

 

I never said they don`t make mistakes,but you are implying this guy and a few others that have posted could be part of something like that.

You are giving them some kind of hope that is not there.

The fact is 99.9% of the people that get banned know exactly what they have done wrong,and post here on the off chance that they can talk their way out of it.

If there was another glitch we would have had a thousand people posting here in one day all saying the same thing.

What we have got is another call of duty player with multiple accounts claiming his innocence,as usual.

 

Well, people DO NOT get banned for nothing.

One isolated occasion is not ground for a debate. In fact, people affected were given compensation anyway.

Granted, mistakes are made by everyone. Not everyone will learn from them though I use your own information as an example.

 

Sorry but I genuinely find it strange that you two believe Microsoft to be infallible, incapable of error.

They have proven once that is not the case, yet you still believe that they can do no wrong. Can I ask if you believed that they never made mistakes before the false banning of a great number of consoles?

I don't wish to give false hope to anyone. I just don't agree with telling people that the Enforcement Team don't make mistakes, when they clearly have done.

 

I don't think anyone is implying that Microsoft are infallible, I think we are just saying that we'd be quicker to believe their actions than those of a Silver 0 Gamerscore poster who has recently played Call of Duty.

 

I clearly never said microsoft are infallible,or incapable or error.

They clearly did make that mistake a few years back,or their automated system did.

What hasn`t happened, is their automated system has not failed again and accidentally caught out just one call of duty player.
