Console Banned

We were recently console banned for killing a person in the game and that person had us banned. I don't think it's fair when the other person was doing the same thing, killing us back. I can understand if you don't follow the policy and terms, being banned for
a short time but not defiantly. We paid a lot for our console and use it for more then just games and its for the whole family not just my son.

Plus i feel like the reasoning is very unfair and its just a game what my son did was the same as what the other kid was doing to him first so i honestly don't feel that it is right that my son got banned what about the other kid? i believe it is just a
game and no reason for just my son to get not only banned for that round but console banned? We use the Xbox for more then just games so I would like this resolved and our console un-banned. Also my son informed me that the person who banned him works for
Microsoft which i am not positive about that but if so that is abuse of his power and should most defiantly be reprimanded.

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

You don't get console banned just for killing a person in game.

The only people that can ban consoles are the enforcement team,a player on live can not ban your console.

The enforcement team will never tell you who they are on xbox live.

Console bans are a last resort & issued when someone keeps receiving enforcement action on their account(s)

Console bans are permanent & not overturned.They can not be appealed.

It might be a console privilege suspension though.

One of the accounts on that console might be suspended & a privilege suspension was issued to stop that person using another account to avoid the suspension on their main account.Console privilege suspensions can not be appealed either & end at the same
time as the account suspension.

You can either check to see if you have an email as one would of been sent if a account was suspended or look on the enforcement site

I need to know how this works so I can have everyone banned who has killed me in multiplayer the last 10 years.

You didn't get console banned for killing someone in a game. Console bans are a little more serious than that... if a console ban is actually what you received.

 

As others have said, you don't get console banned for killing people in games, if that was the case everyone who played CoD would get console banned.

You get console banned for breaking the terms of usage that you or your son agreed to when you bought the console.

Perhaps have a word with your son and ask him if he has been sending messages to other players, if so perhaps look at them (they are all stored on your console and on Microsofts servers) if he has been send offensive messages then this can get an account
banned, but shouldn't get a console ban.

Something else that can get an account ban is team killing, if your son was killing players on his own team then again that's not tolerated, even if someone else was doing it (know the saying two wrong don't make a right?)
